Same as our Privacy Policy, we wrote this to actually be read, not just clicked past. By using this site or signing up, you are agreeing to what is below.
Be honest, be respectful, and do not use FFN to hurt or take advantage of anyone, especially kids. We will do our best to run a good program, but we cannot promise outcomes, and we are not liable for what happens away from the site, like on a fishing trip or at an event.
If you are a parent signing up a child, you are the one agreeing to these terms on their behalf.
Adults sign up for themselves. Anyone under 13 is signed up by a parent or guardian, who manages the account. Anyone 13 to 17 needs a parent or guardian's permission before joining.
By creating an account, you are confirming the information you gave us is accurate, and that you have the right to agree to these terms, either for yourself or for a child in your care.
We can remove content, suspend an account, or end a membership if these rules are not followed. For anything involving a young member's safety, we will act first and explain after, if needed.
Mentors go through a background check process before being connected with any family. Even so, FFN does not guarantee the conduct of any volunteer or mentor, and does not make placement decisions between adults and children. Background check results are shared with parents so they can make their own informed decision.
Participation in any FFN activity, tournament, or outing is voluntary, and it is each family's responsibility to decide what is appropriate for their child.
You keep ownership of anything you post, like a photo, a catch, or a comment. By posting it, you are giving FFN permission to show it on the site and use it to promote FFN, like on the Lunker Board or in materials about the program. You can ask us to remove your content at any time.
No photo of a minor is used publicly without a parent or guardian's written permission first, separate from these terms.
We are a growing, faith-based community organization, not a licensed outfitter, guide service, or professional childcare provider. We do our best to build a safe and useful platform, but:
Fishing, boating, and outdoor activity carry real risk. Anyone participating in an FFN-affiliated activity does so at their own judgment and, where a minor is involved, their parent's judgment.
Some features may be offered as a paid Premium membership. Pricing, billing, and cancellation details will be made clear at the time you sign up for Premium. We do not sell or share your payment information beyond what is needed to process it.
You can ask us to close your account or your child's account at any time, for any reason. We may also close an account if these terms are not being followed, especially anything involving the safety of a young member.
If we make a change that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects a child's account, we will contact the parent directly rather than expecting them to check back here.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
