A community working together to better future generations

Fishing Friends Network is built around individual communities, bringing them together through fishing and the outdoors. Neighbors, families, kids, veterans, everybody is part of one larger community.

What We Do

Fishing is the doorway

We connect fishing with learning real world lessons, healthy competition, family, community, mentoring, and personal growth.

Why We Do It

It was never about the fish

It is a gateway to life skills, self-confidence, healthy relationships, and character building, humility, and helping others.

For Parents

It takes a village. We are trying to be one.

Parents are working, often two jobs or on their own, and there is not always somebody free to stand on the bank for an afternoon. That is what a community is for. FFN is a trusted place where a kid can spend a few hours outdoors, learn something real, and be around good people. Supervised group sessions, multiple adults, out in the open.

Mentoring

Somebody taught you. Your turn now.

Most of us learned to fish because somebody took the time to teach us. A dad, a grandpa, a neighbor, a friend from church. That is the whole idea behind FFN. Passing it on.

A mentor is not a replacement for a parent. A mentor is another steady adult offering encouragement and real skills for real life, not just for an afternoon on the water. That is the purpose.

Everybody has a purpose. Sometimes it just takes one person willing to show up and hand you a rod.

Every FFN tournament puts money back into the community it was fished in. Kids fish alongside adults in their own classes, live bait and artificial run separately, and showing up counts for something. We are building this one state at a time.
