Learning Library

Free, and from people who know.

We would rather point you to the folks already doing it well than pretend we wrote the book.

Start with your state

Fishing laws are set by each state, not by us. Size limits, creel limits, seasons, and which species you can keep all change from state to state and they change most years. Pick your state and we will send you straight to the official source.

We link to your state agency instead of printing limits here on purpose. Regulations change, sometimes mid-season, and a wrong number on our site could cost you a fine. The official book is always right. We are not.

None of this goes behind Premium. Safety, the law, conservation, survival, and getting started are open to everyone right now, no account needed, the same way your state's own site already gives this away. Only the deep species-by-species guides ask you to join first, and joining is free.
